The Pembroke features popular brioche French toast, soaked in Grand Marnier and topped with fresh berries.

mixed feelings about this stay
faulty phone system unrequested maintenance
the location of the hotel was acceptable, placing me near various restaurants.
i found several issues . the phone system in the room was faulty (it turns out i should have pressed '0' instead of using the labeled buttons). staff entered my room twice, claiming i had requested maintenance services that i never asked for. they questioned my denial, interrupting important calls of mine.

The staff was helpful. Cortez checked us in. He explained facility layout. I appreciate bartender Nicolas who was funny. The setting provides a view. I enjoyed my stay.
I noticed light came in from the toilet area. It woke me up.

The Beautiful King Room provided a decent space. I found the room generally clean, though not new. I found a hair on the bed sheet. AC worked good.

Lobby has medium size, decor is nice. Elevators feel a bit small. Sound proofing could be better, since I could hear traffic at times. There are restaurants and shops nearby.

the room was large and comfortable. the location is convenient. the staff is friendly.
the rates quoted online differed from the final bill. vip parking on the street came with an extra charge. the sink was often plugged, though the maintenance was helpful.

convenient location spacious room nespresso machine incorrectly fitted staff inability sleepless night
I found the location convenient. It was next to many shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and clean. I especially enjoyed the Nespresso machine. It was a nice touch.
The windows in my room were not fitted correctly. A windy night caused a lot of noise. The staff was helpful. they could not solve the problem. The experience resulted in a sleepless night.
