the location was central. it allowed convenient access to the main walking street. the staff members were consistently helpful. i found the room large and very clean. the provided sauna was a notable amenity.
The credit card pre-authorization upon check-in was a bit unexpected. It was a temporary hold for a refundable amount.

the hotel was beautiful. the towels were so fluffy. i know that sounds silly, but i find most hotels in europe have very thin and rough towels. these were luxurious. the room was nice and wifi was good. plug for us razors was available in the bathroom, i found it very convenient.
i encountered a very unpleasant situation. having looked at my passport, a receptionist started to insist that i needed a visa, which i did not. these claims were made in a semi-loud voice. it attracted the attention of other guests who were also checking in. the whole situation was awkward and uncomfortable.
