“In my opinion, this hotel stands out for its extensive park-like grounds, unusual for a property so close to Gore's attractions, including the Mataura River. I was particularly drawn to the on-site restaurant, which uses local ingredients, and the family-friendly atmosphere; though some rooms might benefit from more comprehensive amenities, the spaciousness of the family rooms impressed me. I think the range of event spaces also makes it a solid choice for functions in the area.”
