The hotel is close to Deutsche Bank Park. A MUCH earlier check-in was possible. Everything was fast and there were no complications. The staff were helpful at this hotel. I could EASILY get to the airport.
I found very few shopping options near the hotel. The area is quiet but a little remote.

the breakfast was very good. there were a lot of staff providing timely service. the location was adequate for a few nights before connecting flights. good places to eat were within a few steps from the hotel. a tram station for a journey to the city was nearby too. journey to the airport took no more than 15 minutes by taxi!!!
the hotel is in niederrad which is outside of the city. there are only very few shopping options around.

The hotel has convenient proximity to public transportation. The tram stop is very close. A taxi ride to the airport takes only about ten minutes. Breakfast included a commendable buffet.
The net curtains showed some stains. There were also some marks on the chair and the floor. The shower head leaked so I had to complain.

i stayed in a standard twin room balcony minibar. the beds were large, and there was ample space between them.
the elevator noise was audible all night! so it was difficult to sleep.
