History of Connor Hotel
Before 1899, David Connor's hotel burned down twice. After reopening in August 1899, it was a premier lodging establishment. As the mines declined, the Connor Hotel's fortunes decreased. The hotel closed in the 1980s due to safety concerns. The building was renovated to correct safety issues and add modern amenities.
