Casa Veintiuno offers three exquisitely decorated rooms. Each room features a flat-screen TV, DVD player, Bose Soundtouch, minibar, and espresso machine. Rooms include an iPod dock, funky artwork, Egyptian cotton sheets, Italian espresso makers, Alexandre Turpault bathrobes, Hydro Basics toiletries, and Havaianas flip-flops. Minibars are stocked with Belgian beers. This boutique B & B also has its own water purification system, so the tap water is safe.
Dining with Tropical Views
Guests can enjoy breakfast at the restaurant overlooking the tropical garden, pool, or Gustav Klimt's paintings. Breakfast includes a basket of exotic fruits, freshly made breads and pastries, and a selection of ham and cheeses. The restaurant also serves Belgian chocolate mousse, pineapple creme brulee, and cappuccino made with freshly whipped cream. Fresh-made cocktails, juices, and other drinks are available. Vases overflowing with birds of paradise and a refrigerator full of Belgian beer enhance the atmosphere.
Leisure and Amenities
Casa Veintiuno features a year-round outdoor pool and sea views from its top floors. The small, rectangular pool is surrounded by German-made patio furniture, cushioned lounge chairs, and a large, round lounger covered by an umbrella. There is a gym with mismatched machines, workout DVDs, and free weights, and a games room and shared lounge. Guests can choose from hundreds of DVDs and books. There is also a communal space with sofas, a TV, and a large telescope. Rescued dogs, ' Botti ' & "Pooka ", are part of the family.
Location and Access
Located in Sosua, a Dominican beach town, Casa Veintiuno is a 5-minute walk from Playa Sosua and the restaurants and bars in Sosua town. Gregorio Luperon International Airport is 10 km away, about a 10-minute drive. Landmarks nearby include Playa Alicia (0.5 km), Coral Reef Casino (0.5 km), and Supermercado Sosua (0.5 km).
