the staff showed such kindness. the restored building provided a quiet atmosphere. breakfast in the courtyard upstairs was a good experience. freshly made biscuits became a daily treat. every aspect of the hotel seemed like home, with staff ready to assist with anything i needed. i appreciated their warm welcome.

I found the coffee and tea facilities inadequate. I expected a pod machine for the price i paid, this disappointed me.

this year we chose to come back, and i'm grateful we did. the staff was very cute. i had a room with a large sitting area and its own private terrace, and i used that terrace on the sunny days. i reminded me of a special guest during a charity concert sponsored by the hotel.

i noticed that the coffee and tea making facilities could use an upgrade. i think a pod machine would have been a nice addition, especially considering the price.

the hotel location was great. the breakfast was pretty good too.

The room i booked was not what i expected. It was quite small. the bed was really uncomfortable. I woke up with a sore back every morning. also, the coffee and tea setup was very basic, not what i'd expect for the price i paid. we expected more.
