Bar N Ranch is located in a rural area, roughly six miles from the west entrance of Yellowstone National Park and 15 km from Yellowstone. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Yellowstone Park West Entrance and Two Top Mountain. The ranch provides views of the mountains in the Park from the lobby. Buttermilk Creek flows behind the cabins and into Danger Pond, which meets the South Fork of the Madison River.
