Cultural Heart
Hotel Harry is in Surry Hills, known for its cultural and café scene. The hotel blends century-old architecture with religious iconography, tequila bottles, church candles and Mexican beer posters. Features include frieze-lined walls with crumbling paint, pressed metal ceilings, oversized chandeliers, stained glass windows, cascading plants, Chesterfield lounges and old-world paintings. Some of Sydney's restaurants such as Alberto's Lounge and Poly are nearby.
“Hotel Harry, in my view, holds a certain appeal with its heritage-listed structure in lively Surry Hills. The Latin-themed bar adds character, although some might find it a bit noisy; earplugs are a thoughtful touch. I think its location is a real advantage for exploring Sydney.”
