great coffee free snacks convenient location unreachable reception poor checkin

The location is super. I was close to Maxwell MRT and many dining options. I found two of the best hawker's centres are also nearby. Free snacks all day with great coffee and tea were available. Complimentary beer and wine were available from 5-6pm. This was a lovely touch because they don't have a kitchen or liquor license.

The reception is supposed to be 24/7. When I arrived just after 8pm, only a security person was there. The room key was ready. I could not check in properly. I couldn't ask any question or get any help. Staff were not personable. They weren't very cute either.

central location comfortable bed carpet stains loud noise

the location was amazing, placing me super close to chinatown and several train stations (it made exploring so easy). the bed was really comfortable. I slept so well in my beautiful room.

the noise at night was a bit much because of the bars and the road nearby. also, i noticed some stains on the carpet (i think it needs replacing).

poor soundproofing luggage assistance

I found a couple of issues to be rather bothersome. firstly, the soundproofing was inadequate. I could hear noise from neighboring rooms and the hallway, disruptive (especially at night). secondly, the lack of assistance with luggage upon arrival was disappointing. I expected more help, especially considering the hotel's supposed level of service.
