Rooms include artifacts from the 1956 earthquake. Select suites feature private Jacuzzi pools and kitchenettes with handcrafted marble basins. The 25 square meter studio is for 2 adults. It is perched on the highest point of Santorini, with panoramic views and a sheltered outdoor dip pool. The 30 square meter Standard Apartment, restored from an 1883 building, includes a double bedroom, a sitting area, and a kitchenette. The 42 square meter cavernous apartment includes one double bedroom, two bathrooms, a sitting and dining lounge, a kitchenette, and a terrace with a plunge pool.
Dining at Altana
The hotel's bistro serves snacks, light food, and local wine. A hearty Greek breakfast is served until late at Kafeneion, featuring Greek yogurt with fruit, local honey, olives, cheeses, and a coffee bar. The kitchen uses produce from the hotel's organic farm. Guests can sample cooking lessons, gourmet degustation, and private candle-lit dinners, incorporating produce from the Altana farm. Kafeneion serves traditional dishes along with cocktails and local wine.
Leisure & Wellness
Altana Heritage Suites features a rooftop pool and spa tub with sunbeds and beach umbrellas. Guests can take a dive under the sun in the swimming pool.
