Music History
The Historic Gatlinburg Inn has been designated a Tennessee Music Pathways destination for its role in Tennessee's music history. In 1967, Felice and Boudleaux Bryant wrote the song "Rocky Top" in their room at the Gatlinburg Inn. The Gatlinburg Inn hosts a special event with the Gatlinburg Songwriters Festival.

The narrow road of Roaring Fork Motor Nature Trail yields sightings of bear and other wildlife. Over 90 historic structures, including houses, barns, churches, and schools, have been preserved in the park.
