The View Oman is near the historic village of Al Hamra, in the Ad Dakhiliyah region. Landmarks nearby are Misfat Al Abriyen (3 km), Wadi Nakhr Canyon (4.5 km), and Bait Al Safah (4 km). To reach the resort, a 4-Wheel Drive vehicle is required for the last 7.5km off-road path from Al Hamra to Hail Al Shas. The resort is a two-and-a-half-hour drive from Muscat, forty-five minutes from Nizwa, and fifteen minutes from Al Hamra.
