modern decorscottish themeideal location
I appreciated the hotel's modern decor. It maintained a Scottish theme. The location WAS ideal, very close to both Euston and St Pancras stations. Free tea and coffee WERE available in the lobby.
Unfortunately there is little to NO soundproofing between the rooms and the corridors.

A Mixed Stay Near St Pancras

I was somewhat disappointed . My room had a problem with noise. I heard sounds from other rooms. The shower design resulted in water escaping into the room if the door was open, but I nearly got stuck when the door was closed because it was swollen. Soundproofing problems were evident, so I heard activity in nearby rooms. The price didn't seem worth what I experienced.

the vaulted bathroom room was a treat, and i adored it. after a long day, i soaked my feet and relaxed in the tub. the staff was lovely. i could leave my bags, though they kept them at the desk, which i thought was a bit unusual since the desk is accessible to guests.
I noticed little soundproofing between rooms and corridors. Noises did travel.

the room had lovely decor with plenty of space. a high-quality television was also available and in working order. gummy bears were provided, a nice touch my child especially liked. its location near king's cross made it easy to get around.
the plug socket next to one bed was faulty. it was impossible to insert the charger. the bedside lamp on the same side had a power button that was stuck.

the staff were helpful and friendly. the reception was genuinely available 24 hours. i found the service to be very good throughout my stay.

the hotel is convenient to underground stations. the location was excellent. it is very close to tube links. getting off at king's cross and walking less than 5 minutes was very convenient.
