The Bugle Hotel is appreciated for its good dinners and authentic rooms, some of which are notably spacious and come equipped with a kettle. A mobile air conditioner or fan is often provided, a welcome addition since south-facing rooms can sometimes get a bit warm. While some guests have mentioned noise from nearby deliveries or the bar, many enjoy the convenient breakfast option at a cafe just around the corner.

chef absencesupermarket meal
i was really looking forward to a meal at the hotel. i booked a meal for 3:30 pm on arrival day. i sat there ready to look at the menu, but they weren't on the table. then, i was told the chef had gone and the staff didn't know when he'd be back.. no explanation at all. it was quite upsetting. we had to settle for a meal deal from the local supermarket. we ate it in the lounge.
