Hotel St Nicholas
The Hotel St Nicholas, named after the gold rush-era hospital that formerly occupied its location, is a bed and breakfast inn with roots dating back to 1898. The Catholic Sisters of Mercy constructed it as the first dedicated general hospital to serve Cripple Creek, Colorado, and the surrounding area during the 1890s gold rush. The hotel is listed on the National Historic Register. It is 90 km from Colorado Springs.
