The lack of an available chef was disappointing. The restaurant was closed. the bar also closed early each night. This left few options. i also found the restricted beer availability frustrating.

I loved the super central location! The hotel offered free parking, a real bonus. The staff were so helpful and friendly. I appreciated the delicious breakfast each morning!
The floorboards were a little noisy, and I could hear traffic sometimes. It was not a big issue, but I wanted to mention it.

The breakfast service was quite disorganized. i arrived and found a table that hadn't been cleaned after the previous guest. Dirty napkins were still there. some of the fruit tasted old, and the cornflakes had an odd flavour. it just wasn't the fresh start i had hoped for, though the cooked breakfast was acceptable.
