the location is ideal for the beach. the view looked out to sea (it was lovely). the staircase as you walk in is amazing. the staff was very helpful during check-in.
the hotel is old and needs a substantial refurbishment. my room was clean but very poor. tatty furniture and an awful bathroom contributed to a tired feel.

I appreciated the location, it was easy to find. It is a short walk from both the Railway Station and various bus stops. I found shops and the beach nearby. The hotel staff at the reception were helpful.
The bar was not clean the day after New Year's celebrations, with tables all over the place.
