Things to do
Guests can stroll the lush riverside paths lined with towering Cypress trees, restaurants, hotels, shops, museums, and recreation spots. Boat rides, attractions, and other activities will have various costs associated with them. Merkaba is a cocktail lounge and nightclub that embraces drink flavors and decor inspired by the deep history of San Antonio.

Nearby landmarks include Vietnam Veterans Memorial of San Antonio (0.5 km), San Antonio Museum of Art (1 km), The Alamo (1 km), and Tower of the Americas (2 km).
River Walk Activities
The San Antonio River Walk produces nearly two dozen free festivals, parades, and events each year, including the St Patrick's Day Parade and Festival, Mardi Gras Parade, Armed Forces River Parade, and the Ford Mariachi Festival. Shop over 40 handmade artisan booths at the Artisan Show, including pottery, textiles, jewelry, woodwork, and paintings.
“El Tropicano Riverwalk offers a distinctive experience with its Acapulco-inspired décor and prime spot on the Riverwalk. I appreciate the blend of historical charm and family-friendly amenities, particularly the inviting poolside vibe. It's a solid choice for those seeking convenient access to San Antonio's attractions alongside comfortable, pet-friendly accommodations.”
