inconsistent service MARRED my stay

unhelpful staff no restaurant

The reception staff were NOT helpful AT all. I emailed about parking. They said it was reserved. i arrived and nothing WAS reserved, and the staff acted like they did not care. also, there's no restaurant FOR dinner, JUST bar food. getting the key reset TWICE was a huge hassle.

The hotel charged extra for parking. I found this a bit much. the ice machine was out of order on my floor. I had to go to another level each time I wanted ice. This became quite inconvenient. The TV remote also didn't work properly. I asked for a replacement, but nothing happened.

faulty air conditioning limited parking

I was quite happy initially. the room was nice and seemed clean. however, the air conditioning barely worked. The room was uncomfortably warm throughout my stay. also the limited parking caused some stress. I struggled to find a spot on two separate occasions. this hotel really needs to sort out its temperature control and parking arrangement, it affected my sleep quality and convenience.

poor sound isolation uncomfortable level

The room's sound isolation was poor. A dog barked next door for an hour one night (between 22:30 and 23:30), disturbing my sleep. Staff showed little interest in making guests comfortable, failing to meet the expected level for a so-called four-star hotel.

valet parking fantastic shower

I found valet parking very useful. the shower in my room was fantastic, it had great water pressure. the staff was obliging. They even loaded my car when i was leaving, without me requesting it.

the hotel bar was closed at lunchtime, slightly inconvenient

modern hotel great location comfortable rooms

the hotel was modern and clean. the location was great! the staff were super. i found the rooms very comfortable.

The sound isolation between the rooms was poor. I could hear a dog barking next door one night.

amazing location fantastic selection high standard valet parking

The location was amazing. I could walk everywhere! the breakfast offered a fantastic selection, and the staff were attentive. the room was cleaned daily to a high standard. i really appreciated the valet parking service. It made arrival and departure simple.
