uneven experience with some drawbacks
excessive fee uncomfortable air
the parking fee felt excessive. i received notification it would be £12 per night, but i paid £20 at the machine. also, the air conditioning blew directly over the bed. this made it difficult for me to get comfortable and sleep soundly.

the location was easy to find. the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. i found the staff friendly and helpful with directions to local attractions.
The room's heating was difficult to regulate. It was either too hot or too cold. the shower had a cracked tile. i noticed what looked like blood splatters on the wall by the bathroom bin. It was unsettling.

Acceptable but with Issues
fire alarm unprofessional staff
the room was clean and basic meeting my needs it was nicely presented
the fire alarm activated around midnight the process for evacuation lacked clear communication senior staff argued with guests in the corridor at 115 am this kept me awake this behavior seemed unprofessional

friendly staff maintained room fantastic food
the staff were friendly , helpful and very quick at check in. the room was clean and well maintained. i found a lovely nearby pub , it was called the little owl and its food was fantastic.

a few issues
the breakfast was good and provided a nice start to the day.
my room windows were open when i arrived, so the room was very cold. the heating did not work properly and only blew cold air, even after staff checked it.
