Decent but Disappointing

overcrowded leisure center mediocre bar food

The leisure center felt overcrowded. Many non-guests seemed to use the pool, a fact that was not communicated to me (or at least I did not hear it). This made it less relaxing. the food at the bar was not great. I thought the quality did not match the rest of the hotel.

Dinner and breakfast were superb . The food quality was great and everything was well cooked. I found the setting for eating lovely. The staff displayed friendly, attentive and professional service. Check-in and check-out were efficient.

I found that the bar lacked a certain homeliness, which affected the overall atmosphere. The area seemed less inviting than other parts of the hotel.

fantastic experience!

polite staff spacious room clean room beautiful food

the staff were so polite. my room was very spacious and super clean. it provided a comfortable base for my short trip. i ate at the hotel. the food was beautiful from breakfast through dinner!

The gym was somewhat busy during peak hours. I had to wait a short time for a treadmill, but i managed.

the hotel has beautiful surroundings. it is only an hour from dublin. the hotel grounds have quiet little nooks. totally tranquil. the hotel has fine views!

extensive breakfast helpful staff well-kept pool area missing cup dinner service understaffed service

the breakfast was very extensive and well presented i found the staff friendly and helpful. the pool area had both a sauna and a steam room that were well maintained. the gym had plenty of equipment i liked the variety.

i booked a triple room however it was not fully set up for three guests. there was a coffee machine in the room but only two cups provided. dinner service was understaffed it took a while to get attention for clearing plates and ordering coffee.
