The room size impressed me, really spacious. the bathroom had a great design, especially the well-appointed features. staff helped me find driving directions. They printed them for me.
The tv remote was a bit slow. I had to point it directly at the tv.

The staff seemed pleasant and helpful.
Upon arrival, my room felt excessively warm. I had to leave both the window and door open and endure constant motorway noise all night (this certainly tested my patience). a large group of noisy schoolboys occupied my floor.

The check-in process was quick. My room had adjustable bedside lights and this really aided my reading before sleep. The shower was also simple for me to operate.
My room had a connecting door to the adjacent room. This made privacy difficult for me. I also noticed dust and a stain on the curtain. The staff did not clean my room when I asked, and it left me feeling forgotten.

The location is great for trips! i validated my parking at the front desk. It was easy. i loved the outside eating area, it was such a treat. businesses like greggs, kfc, costa, and bp are super close, i grabbed snacks easily!
the staff seemed a bit rude during a kids' football event. i think there should be clearer areas for families!

the reception was good.
the wifi didn't work at all. at midnight, i could hear screaming and swearing from the room opposite, very disturbing. i guess it's not necessarily the hotel's fault, but it did ruin my sleep.

the location proved ideal for breaking up my long drive, offering easy access to nearby services. my room had a great view of the field behind the hotel. i appreciated the convenience of having an ev charger right next to the hotel (a great touch for electric car owners like myself).
i found most rooms include a joining door to the next room. i think a solution like allowing guests to lock the door on either side would provide more flexibility.
