underwhelming stay near galata

constant noise poor food quality

the location was acceptable, putting me close to many attractions.

I had a less than stellar experience . the noise was a constant issue. I could hear everything through the walls, made sleeping difficult. adding insult to injury, the advertised breakfast variety was exaggerated, and the food quality left much to be desired. it seemed like cost-cutting measures were prioritized over guest satisfaction.

Acceptable Location, Notable Shower Issue

The location was acceptable and close to the Galata tower.

The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and into the hallway. I was forced to deal with staff in my room while trying to sleep. The staff whispered that this happens every day

the room i booked was not as the pictures showed it faced a street with a building in front the lobby staff tried to overcharge me for an istanbul card also breakfast had limited choices

excellent stay near galata tower

friendly staff arabic speaker helpful receptionist

i appreciated the friendly staff. sabri spoke arabic and helped me. ezgi also was helpful at reception . the hotel offered coffee while i waited for a taxi. it seemed like a thoughtful touch.

the hotel restaurant was expensive for average food.

the hotel is right next to galata tower. there are many nice bars and restaurants nearby. the hotel offers calm relaxing atmosphere, despite the central position. it is a very accessible place.

Acceptable Stay

clean room proximity to tram shower leak unhelpful staff

The room was very clean. The breakfast on the top floor provided a great view. I also appreciated the hotel's proximity to the tram station. It made getting around the area very easy.

The shower leaked water onto the bathroom floor. The staff initially claimed no other rooms were available. This issue occurred in both rooms I stayed in. It seemed to be a common problem there.
