retro charm and perfect service

ample spaceexcellent breakfastconvenient service
the hotel sits right in the heart of the city, inside a newspaper building. the room provided ample desk space and really good bathroom facilities. i also found the coffee-tea-hot chocolate service particularly convenient (such a nice touch!). the breakfast buffet was excellent, it included veggie sausage and porridge.
my room faced the main road and i experienced some noise from cars and pedestrians. i also found it difficult to regulate the room temperature, but i am sure the staff would have quickly resolved this if i had asked them at the time.

My room was not entirely satisfactory. the rolling wardrobe door felt cheap and it was annoying because there were no drawers. i found the towels rather rough. They seemed like they had been washed in starch. there was also a noticeable draught coming from the window near the bed.
