surprisingly spacious stay

The room surprised me with its size. I didn't expect so much space. i found the bed to be king size, bigger than the double i had anticipated, this was a pleasant change. the tea making facilities were also stocked well. I could have a nice cup whenever i wanted.

The shower base had a crack. It didn't leak but it was a bit unsightly. this detracted slightly from an otherwise great bathroom experience.

the hotel has convenient access and good parking, a real benefit when traveling with family. this makes arriving and departing straightforward and stress free. i was also able to quickly get back on the road each day.

the room featured a large shower and plenty of hot water, a detail i always appreciate. the space was clean when i arrived and kept to a high standard throughout my stay. the room also had a useful, if dated, decor.

The location was quiet with a big car park.

My room had a constant cold draft because the windows were not properly sealed. A tiny electric heater did little to warm the place. Curtains hung off the rail, providing minimal insulation.

the staff was very helpful. they assisted me with my request for an iron. the check in was quick and the parking was excellent it was free.

the room was very basic for the price i expected more. noise travelled a lot between rooms from the corridor. we heard many people coming and going down the corridor through noisy doors.
