HI New York City offers budget-friendly dorm rooms with bunk beds for up to 12 guests. Most rooms feature up to six bunk beds. Mixed-gender dormitories are for two guests of the opposite sex traveling together. Private rooms include flat-screen TVs, coffeemakers, mini-fridges, and private bathrooms. All dorm rooms are equipped with individual reading lamps and lockers (18Wx35Hx19D), and linen. Room facilities include air conditioning and a tumble dryer. Note that some dormitories have between 4 to 6 beds, and that some are female-only or male-only. Rooms on the upper floors are accessible by lift.
