Rooms

The Hen-Dy offers 11 en-suite bedrooms with a choice of double, twin, or family rooms. Each room includes linen, towels, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Some rooms feature sea or mountain views. Room types include triple rooms with a double and a single bed, double rooms with bath and overhead shower, and family suites with two separate rooms connected by a secure door, featuring a double and two twin beds. Some rooms have air-conditioning. Note that there is no elevator and that rooms are located on the first, second and third floors, reachable by 14, 28, 37 and 54 steps. Some rooms have a sitting area, electric kettle, a flat-screen TV, and carpeted floor. A room on the ground floor features sea views with an adjacent lounge.

Breakfast and Refreshments

The Hen-Dy serves breakfast from 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM in the restaurant area, which can seat 26 people. The breakfast menu includes yogurts, chilled fruit juice, a selection of fruits, cereals, Weetabix, and a full cooked breakfast with bacon, sausage, egg, grilled tomato, baked beans, mushrooms, and fried bread. Alternatives include scrambled, boiled, or poached egg on toast, and beans on toast. Tea, coffee, toast, and preserves are also available. A Grab and Go Breakfast Bag can be ordered before 6 PM the night before, and consists of a Pain au Chocolate, Cereal Bar, Yoghurt, Apple, and Bottle of Water, available from 7:30 AM to 9:15 AM. The Hen-Dy has a licensed honesty bar with beers, wines, soft drinks, and snacks. Dinners are served on December 31st and January 1st.

Can you recommend a room for my partner, our 11-year-old daughter, and me? I'm considering Room 4 or Room 11.

Room 4 is located on the second floor with a pleasant rear view, while Room 11 on the third floor offers a beautiful rear and mountain view. Keep in mind that there is no lift, so the choice may depend on how high you prefer to stay. Both rooms are lovely and feature fantastic showers.

There are a couple of pay-and-display car parks located around 500 meters away, roughly a 5-10 minute walk from the hotel. It is recommended to drop off luggage first before parking. The promenade offers some parking but can get quite busy.
