Based on recent reviews
Powered by AI
Craig-Y-Dderwen Riverside Hotel is known for its comfortable and clean rooms, some featuring separate sleeping areas, large balconies, and even private hot tubs with amazing river views, all within a short walk of Betws-y-Coed. The location is ideal for exploring Snowdon and North Wales, or simply enjoying the hotel's grounds and the beautiful valley. While the food generally receives positive reviews, a few guests felt that some main courses didn't quite match the high standard set by other dishes. Overall, many guests consider it a restful place to escape and find peace.

Riverside Serenity

The location allowed lovely walks. Gardens are accessible near the river. Breakfast was wonderful. My husband really enjoyed the eggs benedict. The staff was great and helpful. My stay felt both peaceful and romantic. I felt at home here.
The room was a nice standard, but I found the bathroom dated. A walk-in shower would have. The shower head sprayed water, and it was hard to get into the bath.

the room was very comfortable and clean. it was nice that there was a separate area for our child to sleep. bathroom was huge with nice toiletries.
the smell in the en-suite was not very nice. the price was too high for the actual hotel expectation. i think it would have been acceptable to try and book us in earlier.
