The staff was very helpful and accommodating ! the room was ready upon my arrival, and i found ample parking right outside. the location allowed me immediate access to walking trails. I could enjoy the scenery directly from the hotel.
The room, while comfortable, showed signs of wear. I noticed some peeling wallpaper. also, the stairs leading to my room needed vacuuming. it was a small thing, but noticeable.

the king room included a comfortable bed with quality linen and had sufficient space. i liked that the room had an equipped bath. the room provided absolute silence at night and also a selection of pillows were available.

the building is historic and well maintained! animal prints decorated the walls, fitting the country setting. the hotel's gift shop offered interesting items for purchase.

the breakfast offered a wide choice of food, it was included in my rate. i had dinner in the bar and tried the homemade beef pie which was delicious! every evening meal and breakfast was excellent.

the staff was very personable! one member of staff told me about a bus service which was fabulous. they are also dog friendly, so it created a very cute environment.

I had a SUPER room. It was very comfortable. breakfast offered both continental and full english options. gluten-free breads were available too! the staff gave me a warm welcome at check-in. They were friendly.
I noticed the stairs needed vacuuming. It was only a very minor thing.

the staff was friendly enough.
The shower temperature was erratic. It kept switching between scalding hot and freezing cold. the carpet REALLY needed a good vacuuming. the room seemed dated and not well-kept, definitely NOT worth the price I paid.

The bathroom window had unpainted plaster. the carpet was not properly cleaned. It needed vacuuming. the wallpaper was peeling off the walls. It looked bad.
