a romantic getaway

excellent locationdigital keycoffee teaspacious room

i loved the location. the hotel is near bars and cafes (perfect for our romantic evenings). they provided a digital key, a modern touch i appreciated. there was coffee and tea available, a sweet bonus. the room we had, the standard double room, was spacious, complete with a table, tv, kettle and a coffee maker.

The bathroom door sometimes needed a little nudge. I think the hinges needed some attention.

yogurt was available from the lobby. they offered complimentary coffee, hot chocolate, and lattes. bagged breakfasts were also available, and they were a good start to the day, even though quite basic (especially for people on the go).

our standard double room included central heating and an extra heater, a nice touch for cooler evenings. the room had a kettle and coffee maker (i used them every day!). cleaning service was provided, and the bathroom was cleaned each day, too.

the hotel backs onto vondel park, so it was very quiet (the perfect location for a getaway). free coffee and tea in the lobby was a welcome addition, especially after a long day. there were no closets or a fridge in the room.

this accommodation is in a beautiful, historic street (so romantic). it is an easy walk to museums, shopping, restaurants, canals, and tram stops. the airport express bus is also easily accessible from the hotel.

The hotel's location allowed easy access to many places. I could walk to Vondelpark within minutes. My room included coffee for the morning, which I liked. Bars and restaurants nearby provided many options for meals.

The room lacked an extra pillow. One more would have been nice.

The room was quite small, a bit of a squeeze, really. the water pressure in the shower was practically nonexistent. Showering felt more like standing under a leaky faucet. also, the staff entered my room and didn't even bother changing the towels. i mean, what exactly were they doing in there..
