Treehotel, 90 km from Lulea, combines nature, ecological values, and design for adventure. The Dragonfly features valley views from a 15-meter ramp, wooden interiors, and a metal exterior. The UFO, made from engineered materials, offers Lule River views and footbridge access. The Mirrorcube has mirrored-glass exterior for 360-degree forest views and rooftop terrace access via rope bridge. The Bird's Nest features a branch-clad exterior, separated living spaces, and retractable staircase access. Except for the Bird's Nest and UFO, all rooms have large windows for Northern Lights viewing. The room has wooden construction with a rusty-brown metal facade. Those staying in this room must leave large suitcases in the main building's luggage room.
Dining at Treehotel
Delicious meals are served in the wooden dining room at Pensionat, featuring local ingredients like arctic char, moose, and reindeer. Guests will discover the story of each dish and the source of the ingredients. Treehotel sends a morning tea basket to enjoy in the yard, the teepee tent, or on a picnic blanket.
Activities in Nature
Guests can walk 500 meters on a prepared trail through coniferous and deciduous forests and hike next to the thundering river. You can also enjoy brooks running between the rocks and dip in natural pools. The property offers Northern Lights viewing. Walking on snow shoes through a winter landscape. Yoga can be done in the forest sauna with access to a shower. Other activities include dog sledding where guests can learn about preseason training and snowmobile tours.
