Rooms: Comfort and Style
The Orkney Hotel offers several room types: Single, Executive Single, Twin, Double, Superior, and Deluxe. Each room has a flat-screen TV with cable channels, tea/coffee facilities, and free toiletries. Select rooms offer seating areas and Jacuzzi baths. Larger-sized duvets provide added comfort. WIFI access is available throughout the hotel. All bedrooms are non-smoking.
Eat: Local Cuisine
The Garden View Restaurant sources ingredients locally, including native bred beef and lamb, and daily harvested seafood. Dinners are available from 6 PM to 8:30 PM, Monday through Saturday. The hotel is closed Sunday evenings for food. The Bar offers a bar supper menu. Breakfast is served Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM and Saturday & Sunday from 8 AM to 9:30 AM.
Drink: Whisky & Gin Bar
The Royal Cask Whisky Gin Bar features over 1,000 whiskies, 160 gins, wine, and local draft ales. Visitors can sample local selections from Highland Park and Scapa Distilleries. Draft ales include selections from both the local Orkney Brewery and Swannay Brewery. The bar is open Monday to Sunday from 5 PM and is closed from December 23rd to January 6th.
