a decent stay

friendly staff convenient location coffee making dark hallway missing shelf steep steps

the staff were friendly. the hotel's location was convenient for accessing local attractions. the room was clean, and it had tea and coffee making facilities. i appreciated this..

i found the hallway very dark upon entering. only one bulb was working in the chandelier type light. this was dangerous because the steps up were steep. the bathroom lacked a shelf or table. i had to put my toiletries on the floor.

clean room cooling fan good conditioner

The rooms were lovely and very clean. everything i needed was available including a fan since it was very hot. shampoo and conditioner were really good. Most hotel shampoos make my hair dry, these ones didn't do that.

the room was a little compact, especially the bathroom.

The room was clean and tidy. all staff were very friendly and helpful. the hotel's location was ideal. It had everything i wanted on my doorstep.

The shower was very small. You could not bend down in it. there was no shelf to put shower gel. the decor in the room was tired and needed updating.

Acceptable Experience

working hairdryer large shower available toiletries dim lighting steep staircase limited channels

The provided hairdryer worked well. An iron and board were also available for my use. The bathroom included a large walk-in shower and toiletries.

The hallway lighting was very dim upon entry. This was hazardous given the steep staircase. There were not enough coat hangers available. The television had limited channel options.
