Guests frequently highlight the spacious and comfortable rooms, with some specifically mentioning Room 802's large bathroom, complete with a tub and walk-in shower, in addition to heated bathroom floors. Breakfast in the courtyard is often described as a relaxing and pleasant experience. The on-site restaurant, Camdeboo, is a definite plus, and many recommend enjoying a meal or a cocktail in the library; however, a few guests have mentioned issues with the pool's cleanliness. The breakfast was good and had many options.
The air conditioning did NOT work properly. I tried to adjust the temperature, but it kept switching off on its own. It really made the room uncomfortable.

My room had slippers and gowns on the bed. The bed was opened and ready. The bathroom floor had heating. A bottle of water waited by the bedside.
The temperature in my room was hot and not comfortable. Every time I tried to cool it down, the aircon switch off all by himself. I wanted it to be cooler.

Acceptable but Flawed Stay

acceptable breakfastinadequate shower
The breakfast was acceptable (a good start to the day).
The shower was inadequate. It did not provide the expected water pressure for a hotel of this caliber and was a disappointing aspect of the room.
