I appreciated the central location. It made visiting local shops easy. The staff WERE attentive, and the service was quite good. The rooms were super clean and cozy.
There was no one at reception initially. I had to find someone to seat me. The menu WAS brought to the table, but I ordered and paid at the bar. The bath did not drain properly. The water rose to my shins during a shower.

missing signinedible salad
I had some frustrations. finding my room was a trial. There was no sign at the top of the annex stairs. the sign on the door was hidden when open, causing trips up and down with my suitcase. i needed a meal at 4pm but the bar only offered sandwiches or salad. The salad was small and almost inedible. the staff seemed more interested in chatting than providing service.
