A Wonderful Stay!

The pub downstairs had a very nice traditional look and offered very good Asian food. I enjoyed the convenience of having such a great selection of beers and delicious food right there. The Sunday food did not disappoint.

The location was convenient for getting around, being very close to both the town and the station. It was great to be within walking distance of lovely restaurants, shops, and views. I could walk to Alberts for great coffee across the street.

mixed experience due to noise and maintenance issues

i had issues with noise . a commercial extractor fan ran until midnight right outside my room. traffic and loud people also made it hard to sleep. doors were constantly banging inside the hotel. the shower had scalding hot water, i washed in the sink. there was no working extractor fan or mirror light in the bathroom.

the location was good to the town. the bed was comfy. real milk was there. the shower was also good.

i went when they were doing work. carpets were not on the walkways to the rooms. heating wasn't in the room, radiators were off. it was uncomfortable.
