excellent location easy walk

The location is excellent. It is directly adjacent to an open park area. it took less than five minutes to walk from the train station. Pubs and restaurants are within easy walking distance.

central location wide selection

i appreciated the location of the hotel. it was right next to the train and bus station (this made traveling very easy). the breakfast had a wide selection of foods. i also enjoyed the friendly staff.

the room i stayed in showed some signs of age. the ceiling in the bathroom had some peeling paint (this could use some attention). the furniture had visible wear.

the hotel has multiple sitting areas for relaxation. these areas offer comfortable sofas and a fireplace. attentive staff members are available to assist in these areas (making it easy to unwind).

central location self service quick omelettes

i appreciated the central location. the proximity to the train station was particularly convenient. breakfast included a self service option with a nice selection of items. i also ordered made to order omelettes, which arrived quickly.

the room felt exceedingly warm. even with the provided fan, it was uncomfortable.

cold breakfast unprofessional staff

The breakfast disappointed me. The sausage, black pudding and eggs were all cold. i also saw some staff near the buffet messing with the heat controls. the bar seemed understaffed. I witnessed two ladies having an issue with the staff and afterwards, two bar men just laughed. this seemed unprofessional.

tasty breakfast helpful staff smallish room dated decor

the breakfast was tasty, even if the choice was limited. the location was very central and convenient for exploring. i appreciated the helpfulness of the staff . they were pretty good too assist us.

my room was a bit smallish. also, the parking was not directly at the hotel. i had to walk a short distance to the hynes yard car park. the room's decor seemed somewhat dated.
