room noisesmoke infiltration

i suppose the hotel was fine, initially. breakfast seemed alright, a sort of buffet. the staff, seemed friendly but, i had a problem with noise. my room had this door, closed off, but it led to another room and i could hear everything. smoke too, came through. it was hard to ignore. made sleeping difficult.

the staff offered excellent service. breakfast included homemade jams. the hotel features a lovely pool and well-kept gardens.

my room had a closed-off door that allowed sounds from the adjacent room. this was slightly disruptive.
