Suites and Villas
Le Taha'a by Pearl Resorts offers 58 suites and villas built in the Polynesian style, with thatched pandanus roofs, bamboo, exotic woods, stones, corals, Marquesan tapa cloths, and woven coconut nape ropes. Pool Beach Villas open onto the white sand beach. Taha'a Overwater Suites provide views of Vanilla Island. Sunset Overwater Suites have views of the lagoon, reef, and ocean. Royal Pool Beach Villas include two bedrooms, en-suite bathrooms, a private tropical garden, a plunge pool, and a thatched-roof gazebo. Each suite includes air conditioning, a flat-screen TV with satellite channels, a mini-bar, and a terrace.
Dining Options
The resort has three restaurants and two bars. Hawaiki Nui Restaurant serves breakfast (7:00am to 10:00am) and dinner (6:30pm to 9:30pm), offering French pain perdu, tropical fruit, and buffet options. Titiraina Restaurant is open for lunch (12:00pm to 3:00pm), features poisson cru. The Tipairua Restaurant provides French-Polynesian fusion cuisine. The Manuia Bar serves cocktails by the pool. The Tiki Bar opens in the evenings with cocktails and tapas. Dinner includes local tuna, marlin, shrimp, and veal cooked with Taha'a vanilla. Every Tuesday, a Polynesian show takes place during dinner.
Activities and Spa
Guests can go snorkeling in the coral garden or power walking. Tavita, a fire dancer, performs at the resort. The Tāvai Spa is in an exotic garden with bamboo trees and offers massages and body treatments using Monoi and Tamanu oils. A hot stone massage, signature ritual, royal treatment, and scrub & massage are available. The spa provides a whirlpool. Excursions, including snorkeling, scuba diving, jet-ski tours, island safaris, and fishing, are available. There is a tennis court and non-motorized water toys.
Location & Transport
Le Taha'a by Pearl Resorts is on Motu Tautau, a small islet 5 km from Maupiti. The resort is a 35-minute private boat transfer (€100 per person return) from Raiatea Airport and five minutes by shuttle boat from Tapuamu village. Helicopter transfers are available from Bora Bora. The resort shares a lagoon with Raiatea. The resort is near Domaine Pari Pari (2.5 km) and Boutique Mana'o (2.5 km).
Onsite Services
Le Taha'a by Pearl Resorts provides concierge services for tours and excursions. Room service is available from 7:00am to 10:00pm, with 24/7 selections. The resort offers pearl shop. Canoe breakfast is available. Wedding ceremonies. Services include beach dinners and private lunches. There is a daily 200 XPF contribution from clients to their room. The hotel has implemented actions to encourage local producers and supports the craftspeople.
