awesome stay!

the hotel really shined during the Christmas season with beautiful decorations, everything sparkled! the staff was friendly, they offered really good customer service and always with a smile. i had access to the swimming pool and sauna, such a nice bonus .
i had a few little hiccups such as not getting new towels or toilet paper daily, i had to ask at the reception for new ones. there was also no place in my room to hang up my towel, that wasnt very convenient.

the staff was friendly and helpful, always quick to assist. the hotel provided complimentary use of the swimming pool and sauna. they were very accommodating to my springer spaniel, .

The hotel was beautifully decorated for the christmas holidays. It was festive and cheerful. the room was clean, had comfy beds, and was very dog-friendly. the walking trail near Cairngorm National Park was easily accessible from my room.

the grounds featured dinosaurs which were a massive hit with everyone. the big lounge included comfortable furniture and ample space for family groups to relax. i especially liked the availability of bar food late in the evening (after 8pm) since that's unusual for highland hotels.
the shower had low water pressure.

the hotel has a superb setting right in the middle of the forest. there are many paths and trails available just outside the door. it is very convenient for outdoor activities.

the hotel included a fun house. there is a starbucks inside the hotel. the hotel has a swimming pool plus a gym. the grounds have a play park.

we were very lucky to receive a complimentary upgrade from a double room to a family room. my kids were happy with the bunk beds. the room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable.

the breakfast buffet offered a great variety of options. the bar food was delicious, especially the fish finger burger. the drinks at the bar were reasonably priced which i thought was a bonus.

the staff provided amazing service. the staff upgraded us to a better ground floor room since my fella was injured. this was appreciated, along with the free drink at the bar.
