pleasant staff morning coffee
the staff was very pleasant. the hotel provides morning coffee and croissants (a nice touch). any needs in my room were met quickly and the hotel looked clean.
the wi-fi was patchy in the room with frequent drop-outs.

the breakfast had usual hot options with haggis and potato scones available. breads, pastries, fruits, cereals, and juices were offered. pancakes were also available (the machine was cool).

the hotel is near many attractions and transport links. several pubs are also nearby. it is a short walk from main points of interest. the location is superb.
Facilities

the pool, steam room and sauna were a great bonus. these facilities were not big, but good for a quick dip. the hotel has a gym. you can find different machines there.

the staff were cute and helpful throughout my stay. the reception staff was wonderfully pleasant and accommodating. morning coffee and croissants are provided (always a plus). any room needs were met quickly.

The location was superb. Access to shops and restaurants was easy. I also found the staff to be friendly and helpful. The room was clean. The housekeeping was done to a high standard.
Check-in lacked detailed information which was frustrating. Our room was not made up until late in the afternoon. The lack of brandy glasses was strange when I ordered a brandy.

helpful staff convenient location spacious room stale pastries poor signage malfunctioning lifts
i found the staff to be helpful. the location was very convenient, close to many attractions. the room was spacious and clean. i am grateful for the excellent service i received.
the breakfast quality was not high. i thought the breakfast pastries tasted stale. also, i noticed the poorly signed parking bays were used by non-electric vehicles. the lifts were not working properly so we had to wait a long time.
