simple stay with nice perks

free parking clean room friendly staff great location

this hotel provides free parking, it was very useful in an expensive area. my room was clean and tidy, i liked the minimalist design. the location felt great for city exploration, restaurants are nearby. the staff were friendly and accommodating, that helped a lot.

the street outside was noisy, this made sleeping difficult because i could hear traffic through the door.

the hotel had a coffee machine in the lobby that i liked, it served Pete's coffee and Starbucks. the free coffee in the morning was a nice addition, i always appreciate that. they had a really cool coffee machine.

my room was equipped well for my needs, it had two queen beds, this was comfortable. an elevator is available for upper floors, i was happy to use it. the room also looked remodeled with a modern look.

the hotel is on a main road, public transport is easily accessible. i was close to the wharf, that was very convenient for me. reaching tourist attractions and cafes was easy, this helped me see a lot.

the front desk guy was attentive and knowledgeable, i dug that. the check in and check out process was easy, everything went fast. the staff looked after my bags after checkout, i was grateful for that.

constant traffic thin walls

I was not pleased with the noise level. The constant traffic sounds made it difficult to sleep. The walls seemed thin. I could hear conversations next door and people walking above. This lack of soundproofing really detracted from any relaxation I hoped to have at night. I also didn't like that there was no elevator access to the upper floors. It made hauling my luggage a real chore.

i found that early checkin was possible. the room was quite spacious and very clean. the hotel provides free parking although it operates on a first come first served basis. complimentary coffee, tea, and chocolate were available in the reception area.

the older building means footsteps and cars are audible.
