Location Highlights
The hotel is in the higher resort part of Ognyanovo, near the architect villages of Kovachevica, Leshten, Dolen, and Delchevo. It is 40 minutes from Bansko and 70 minutes from the beaches of The White Sea. Nicopolis ad Nestum is 2.5 km away. Situated along the canyon of the Kanina river, the Ognyanovo mineral springs are nearby. The basilica is 2.5 km southeast of Nicopolis ad Nestum, in the Gramadeto area. Landmarks include the deep canyon of the Kanina river (Blue Pool) and venerable plane trees in Garmen. The hotel is close to cultural monuments like the Shumareva, Gyuzleva and Sarafova house, the Koyuvi houses and six houses declared cultural monuments of national significance: the Daskalova, Shungureva, Dishlyanova, the Shimerovi, the Bangova and the Pilareva houses.
Mineral Water Benefits
The mineral water from the springs has a temperature of 35°C to 40°C and contains valuable minerals suitable for external and internal therapeutic use. It contains a trace of radon (0.7 nC/l). Intake of the mineral water is recommended for the therapy of gastrointestinal disorders, bilious liver, and renal-urological diseases. The drinking balneotherapy detoxifies the body and removes heavy metals and fat-stored toxins. The alkaline reaction of the water assists in the treatment of musculoskeletal system disorders. The water is also beneficial for people with occupational poisonings.
