excellent stay
clean room buffet selection
the rooms were spacious and clean. the buffet offered a huge selection (i especially enjoyed the variety).
the bed was a little hard for my liking.

the hotel is close to sites in peradeniya and the city. i found the courtyard garden to be very well maintained and with fine views. the entrance lobby is grand.

bad smell dirty room
the hotel breakfast had a decent variety of options. the asian dishes tasted pretty good.
the hallway had a bad smell. i think there were lizards in my room. the room seemed dirty, and the bed had hair on it. i won't stay there again.

mothball smell dated fixtures
The location was alright I suppose it overlooked some trees or something.
The room reeked of mothballs it was pretty intense. The bathroom fixtures looked like they were installed during the previous century. I would have appreciated a bit more attention to detail in the upkeep.

friendly staff warm welcome well kept premises
i found the staff friendly and helpful. the welcome was warm and efficient, and every staff member i encountered was eager to assist (especially in the restaurant). the premises looked well kept, contributing to a relaxing and enjoyable visit.
the mini-bar was empty.

the pool area featured ample seating and a dedicated children's section. the gym includes three treadmills and two stationary bikes. spa services were available daily.
