I found the hotel's location to be ideal for a relaxed getaway, it was near the coastal path, which allowed lovely hikes to port isaac. the proximity to the beach was very convenient. Sunrise sea dips were easily accessible. the food was wonderful, i particularly enjoyed the breakfast and dinner. The views of the beach added to the experience.

i had a minor issue with the hotel hosting a wedding reception on friday evening. finding a seat in the terrace or lounge was difficult, forcing me to take drinks back to the room. i felt the hotel guests should have been given priority over additional event income, though it wasn't a major disruption.

The staff were attentive. They were always willing to help, addressing my queries promptly. extra facilities were readily available as i received an iron and ironing board upon request. the cleaning was excellent.

The hotel's position was fantastic, right on the beach. This meant i had lovely views during breakfast. it provided easy access to the surf shack too, and the views from the restaurant were lovely. the sunsets from the outside area were beautiful.

The room felt very clean and modern. Its style was pleasing. it included a fridge stocked with milk and water. the bed was very comfortable, and crisp white pillows and sheets added a nice touch, contributing to restful nights.
