Dining at Antlers
Antlers Cafe & Dining operates seasonally. During the winter, the cafe is open during the day, and the bar dining in the evening. Breakfast is also available. The bar dining offers dishes prepared by the chef, snacks, wines, whiskies, craft beers, and sake. The Antlers Restaurant & Bar is open until March 16, then the bar continues operation from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Christmas dinner is available on December 24 and 25, with seatings at 5:00 PM and 7:30 PM. The price is JPY 10,000 for adults and JPY 5,000 for children. Reservations are required. The largest restaurant seats 500 people at the top of the Gondola.
Leisure and Activities
The Ridge Hakuba features a game room with a large LCD television, Wii, DVD player, board games, beanbags, and lounges. Ski equipment can be stored in the ski locker and drying room. Hakuba Valley is located in Nagano Prefecture. It features the Iwatake resort where you can ski all points of the compass. Consistent snow at Happo One makes this ski field a destination. Vouchers are presented at the lift ticket office. Rhythm provides ski and snowboard hire. A welcome lobby is available at the entrance. Transfers are available from Nagano City to Hakuba, Nozawa Onsen, Shiga Kogen and Myoko Kogen. Rental stores for gear are recommended in winter and for camping gear in the summer.
Location & Transportation
The Ridge Hakuba Hotel & Apartments is located 75 km from Matsumoto. Hakuba is a 2.5-hour trip from Tokyo via the JR Hokuriku-Shinkansen bullet train. A bus bound for Hakuba departs daily from 7:55 AM to 9:00 PM. The hotel offers transfers on check-in and check-out days between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Transfers are available to the Hakuba Happo Bus Terminal or JR Oito Line Hakuba Station, and to the A-Coop supermarket at 4:30 PM daily. Private or shared transfers with minivans can be arranged. Monorail access to Tokyo Station is a one minute walk from Arrivals gate, takes only 13 minutes to Hamamatsucho station and runs every 3 - 5 minutes.
