Cottages and RV Sites
Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort & Marina provides cottage accommodations and RV camping sites. Cottages have a queen-size bed with linens, a sofa bed with linens, a dining table for four, and a TV with basic cable television. Large cottages feature an open-beamed ceiling, a sleeping loft, a kitchen, a bathroom with toiletries, and a private bedroom. Studio cottages include twin-size bunk beds, a full-size sofa sleeper, a small dining area, a microwave, a mini-fridge, and a small sink. RV sites provide full hook-ups and a picnic table. Beachfront RV sites measure 1,250 sq ft, while Supersites are 1,575 sq ft.
Moe B's Munchies Dining
Moe B's Munchies is the beachfront bar and grill, with menu items such as burgers, sandwiches, bacon-wrapped hot dogs, and 14' pizzas. The bar offers cocktails and mocktails. Summer favorites made from sustainable ingredients and signature seasoned baked fries are also available. The Marketplace provides food, beverages, groceries, and RV supplies.
Recreation and Entertainment
Newport Dunes features four pools. Beach access includes cabana rentals from mid-February through October. Guests can rent water sports equipment, including kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and 21-foot electric Duffy boats. An inflatable water park operates from Memorial Weekend through September. Other activities include bike and hike trails, a playground, horseshoes, and beach volleyball. An exercise room contains a treadmill and Bowflex equipment. The resort hosts events like the Pacific Wine & Food Classic and concerts. Live entertainment is offered on select summer holiday weekends, with food trucks and bars.
Location and Access
Located in Newport Beach, Newport Dunes is 10 km from John Wayne Airport. It is near Balboa Island (1.2 miles), Balboa Village, Mariner's Mile restaurants (Rusty Pelican, Billie's by the Beach, The Winery, Louie's by the Bay), Lido Marina, Cannery Village, Back Bay Nature Preserve, Fashion Island, Corona Del Mar, and Crystal Cove State Park. The resort is located off Jamboree at Pacific Coast Highway, on the Back Bay.
Resort Services
Newport Dunes offers guest services, including a gated entry and security staff. The Marketplace rents beach cruisers and golf carts. A laundromat is located near the Resort Pool Complex. The resort is pet-friendly. The marina provides a boat launch and guest slips. Planned activities are available for adults and children. Wi-Fi access is available. RV rentals are available through RVshare.com, with 24-hour travel concierge and roadside assistance.
