The Highfield has 18 bedrooms with bathrooms. All rooms include amenities Highfield's guests have come to expect. Some rooms feature original Victorian details like bay windows and balconies. Room 5, a first-floor bedroom, features dual views of Lake Derwentwater, the surrounding Fells & Mountains, Skiddaw Mountain, and Keswick. Room 16 has a Lake & Fell View Balcony, overlooking Lake Derwentwater and the Fells & Mountains of Newlands & Borrowdale. Room 16 can be configured with a Super-king Double Bed or Twin Bedded room. Room 18, on the first floor, has dual views South towards Derwentwater and the surrounding Fells & Mountains, plus North towards Skiddaw Mountain and Keswick. The Woodford Suite, a former chapel, includes antique furniture, a hand-carved mahogany Super-King Double Bed, a raised living area with a gas log burner, leather arm chairs, and a flat-screen TV. Its bathroom includes a roll-top bath and a walk-in shower. Room 20, a second-floor bedroom, faces south with views of Lake Derwentwater and the surrounding Fells & Mountains and includes a King-size Double Bed. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower.
