Landmarks nearby include the Church of St Oswald & Viking Grave Stones (5 km), Staithes Heritage Centre and the Captain Cook Museum (3.5 km), The War Memorial Clock Tower in Hinderwell (1.5 km), Mulgrave Castle (5.5 km), Staithes Gallery (3.5 km), Port Mulgrave (2 km) and Runswick Bay (0.5 km). The Moorsbus serves railway stations including York, Malton, Thirsk, Northallerton, and Danby. The park and ride car park has 450 free parking spaces, with Services P1 (via West Cliff and St Hilda's Terrace to Whitby Bus Station every 15 minutes) and P2 (direct to Whitby Bus Station every 30 minutes) operating from Whitby Bus Station to the car park.
